...is a rather legendary ship!
Yes, it's not as large as SuperStar Virgo which I went on a few years back, yes, it's not perfect, but the service is absolutely fantastic!
Really love the way the crew serve us...
Day 1
Checked in, and then had buffet lunch at Windjammer Restaurant... Texted and texted till 5pm, before the ship finally left. Mixed emotions.
Anyway, had dinner at the Romeo & Juliet Restaurant (sounds like a very cliche name...) and it was fabulous! Will show some of my pictures below.
Played mini golf (damn fun~) and swam at the indoor pool. The water is darn salty! Seriously, I almost died from excess intake of salt. Like, almost. Couldn't take it, so went to the outdoor instead, which was a tinge better. Just slightly.
Went to the teen area called the Optix to play dodgeball! Fun~
Slept at 1:30am after watching World's Strongest Man (A rather retarded sports event on ESPN International)... And then that's about it really.
Day 2
Had breakfast, then went to play mini golf again because it was so fun! Enjoyed some sea breeze, and then the ship reached Penang at 3pm. We went down the cruise to buy some snacks, and then came back up within 10 minutes, much to many of the crew members' surprise. Haha!
Had dinner at Romeo & Juliet Restaurant again~ The waiters were fantastic! They did some awesome magic tricks and some cool balancing thing... Very impressed! And the food was awesome as well.
I dressed rather formally for the dinner (it was required for the 2nd day dining). I have no idea why I've just posted that sentence...
Watched the cruise director and his crew perform at the stage. It was a funny performance!
Anyway, moving on, played cards and walked around, before playing table tennis (I WAS SO HAPPY~) and watching TV. And then had supper again at the Burger Bar... The french fries is crispy as hell!
Day 3
Woke up at 7am to have breakfast. Was rather tired... Anyway, played mini golf (for the umpteenth time...) and had fun~ Reached Malacca at 1pm. Had to get some tender tickets to board the smaller boats to reach Malacca because Legend of the Seas cannot reach the shore due to low water levels. Waited 1 hour before we finally boarded the small boat, which brought us to Malacca in 10 minutes or so.
Went to Mahkota Shopping Center, passing by Holiday Inn, the place we stayed at a few years back. Good memories~
So bought quite a lot of things. Got myself new sneakers, a pair of adidas wristbands, some bubble tea (LOL), chewing gum, some AWESOME SHIRTS (one of them is sky blue~), and finally got Maroon 5 - Overexposed album! Although I did regret buying it... Should've bought P!NK - The Truth About Love or Christina Aguilera - Lotus instead.
Oh well, moving on. Boarded the small boat at 7pm (cruise was delayed 45 minutes due to long queues on the shore) and then returned to the cruise. Fun ride, the waves were quite huge!
Had buffet dinner, and then played some table tennis again, before returning to the stateroom.
Brother was so tired he fell asleep in our cousin's stateroom instead. So we took 5 minutes to get him out of bed, and then once he reached our stateroom, he dropped to the bed almost immediately. And yes, he is a pig.
Day 4
Woke up at 6:20am to have breakfast, before packing up and then managing to catch the express exit at 7:15am. Waited at the cruise centre 20 minutes before finally deciding to get a cab instead of waiting for my brother-in-law who was still at home. Managed to hail a Bentley cab! Wow, it was super luxurious.
Although the trip costed us $28, which was twice the amount we paid for the Toyota Crown taxi we took when we went to the Cruise Centre on 26 Dec...
Nonetheless, we finally arrived home. Home sweet home! It was good to be back, good to finally be able to be connected to WiFi and even texting. Missed so many things, and you.
So yeah, good to be back!
Went to Kovan at 5pm after taking a nap, and then bought bubble tea and SotongHead OnStick from Old Chang Kee~ Missed Kovan food so much.
Returned home, and then back to Kovan again at 7pm to pick up Mum, and then expected to go to nex. However, when we reached Kovan, Mum was quite busy. So Dad, brother and I went for dinner. Bought bedding for my future hamsters, and then heard that my Mum's customers are giving their hamsters to us. 4 of them. Wow~ So happy! Can save.... about $50.
So yeah, that concludes my rather eventful few days! Happy to be back, but also loved Legend of the Seas! Great crew, great service, really had fun! Even though it looks boring when written, but I'd suggest that if anyone has the chance, you should go onboard Royal Caribbean one day! It's a great cruise company, top notch service!
For tomorrow, I'll have to go to Yuying Secondary to collect EAGLES and Best Improvement Award at 11am! Not sure how much voucher/cash I'll receive... Nonetheless, honoured to be even awarded!
Should've gotten Bursary as well, but my family income exceeds $5000, so cannot receive... Quite sad, because it's the first time I've gotten a Bursary in Secondary school... But oh well.
Okay, tired, but still going! Nights people!
