I was quite wet on Tuesday...
So here's the revealing: we had Sec 4 '12 Scouts & Guides chalet! The reason why I haven't said it earlier is because.... well nevermind.
Anyway, here are some of the highlights~
Arrived at Pasir Ris rather late (20 minutes only, actually). Nonetheless, had lunch at Kopitiam @ White Sands, and then walked under the scorching hot sun to Downtown East. Went to E!Hub to buy things, and then left for Costa Sands Pasir Ris without realising that there was a shorter way. So we took the longer way, which was less practical for our NTUC Trolley loaded with snacks and drinks.
Played Jewels Star while Yi Cheng was complaining about wanting to take a poop. We had to wait for Arnold's mother to come and check in for us, so by then, YC immediately rushed into the toilet when we finally checked in.
After World War III ended in the lavatory, Esmonde complained of the aftermath - the rather heavy stench. I didn't smell it, though, so I was quite lucky...
We played cards all the way till 5pm, before going to play bowling. Did really badly, and then went for dinner at JustAcia. There was a free flow of drinks and ice cream, so I made my money worth by: eating a Spicy Chicken set (a plate of chicken meat, rice, soup and kimchi), drank 1 mochacino (MOCHA + cupuccino), 1 espresso (it was quite energy-boosting), 1 tehcino (tea + cupuccino), and 6 scoops of ice-cream. It was quite worthwhile for just $7.20...
And then we went to play arcade before watching CZ12 at Cathay @ E!Hub. It was $9.50. There were no student prices after 6pm, and normal tickets would cost $8.50. However, the counter lady said the extra $1 was for "Blockbuster fee". It was so ironic - when we entered the stadium, 80% of the seats were empty. A blockbuster indeed. There was this aunty from the back that keeps on laughing damn loudly, and that's not it. She laughed 1 second after every single person in the theatre stopped laughing. She was lag, and her laughter became annoying after the 2nd time. I almost felt like turning around and telling her to keep quiet, but being a kind person, I did not.
It was a great movie, it has to be said. Go watch it if you understand Chinese at all!
Went back to the chalet at midnight, then played cards, and slept at 4am. I didn't know whether I did actually sleep, for I was semi-conscious for quite some time. Had to wake up twice to go to the loo, and it was not very good.
Woke up (or rather, formally got out of bed) at 7am to play even more cards. Went to eat breakfast with the boys, and then bowled again. This time I narrowly lost to Yi Cheng by 2 points after 2 games. Gutted but at least I did score 200 points over 2 rounds! Quite happy, didn't expect to put up much of a challenge.
Had lunch, and then returned back to chalet to play some games. I cannot remember what we played much, but roughly, I remember playing a card game that players have to pass their cards around, then a marble game, and finally a song game which I failed badly because of my poor knowledge of K-Pop.
Running Man started after we had Bento dinner. We were confused because another group of students were playing the same game within the chalet compound, so it was quite exciting. Almost got caught, before jumping into the bushes to hide. I loved that feeling, it was like escaping and finding your enemies.
After playing for about 2 hours, the game ended in an anti-climatic fashion. It's a long story, so I shall not say it here.
Went home with Esmonde in my Dad's car driven by my Brother-in-law. The rest stayed at the chalet.
Today I woke up at 7:50am (barely managed to get out of bed after a "hangover"). Met Cassandra, Esmonde, Jia Juen and John at nex McDonalds. Went to Victoria JC for their Open House and then saw Janet! She brought us around her school, it was quite interesting! It's a great school, but the Cut-off point is 4... So yeah...
Next, we took the train to Anglo-Chinese JC, which was rather deserted and slightly disappointing. After watching all the CCA performances and touring around like 20% of the school, we left. It was just different, I didn't seem to feel the vibe like I did at VJC.
The last stop was at National JC. Everything looked loud and attractive, but halfway through the guided tour, we left and found a kind girl who brought us around as we found the guided tour group too big for us to hear anything. It was very interesting to see so many CCAs and things.
Left for home at 6pm, and then I've been playing FIFA, eating dinner and blogging to fill up my time.
I'm so nervous right now, but am starting to calm down a bit. Hopefully I can sleep tonight... Fingers crossed for tomorrow!
I just want to get below 11 for my raw L1R5 (excluding bonus points and stuff). Hoping for the best!
