OG6

Today was like the best day of orientation! LURVE.

So yeah, reached TJC at 7:10am. Luckily it wasn't raining...

Orientation started with College Anthem, cheers and the norms. Then had some PDP videos, hyper people and epic cheerleaders!

Then we went to change for Mass Games! First station was the burst-opponent's-balloon game. We had to step on the opponent team's balloons which are tied to their legs. I managed to get into the 2nd round, but somehow got busted from behind.

Either way, the next game was the Kit Kat game. Ahaha, so fun! Nicolas was like arranging us and stuff, and OG6 had awesome ideas too~ In the end we won so yeah, pretty darn happy!

Went back to the field to play some number-memorising-dodgeball. Basically, we had to stand in a line, and then the game master announces 12 numbers which we have to remember. She then starts to randomly pick a person to recite the number, and then followed by the person beside. For every wrong answer, the team gets 1 less paper ball. At the end of about 5 rounds, the 2 teams fight against each other by playing dodgeball.

Ultimately, we lost because the other team kind of "cheated". Not very sure what happened there though...

So we played some Fox and Hunter game. OMG so fun! I was the hunter, so I had to go around chasing the foxes, pull out their wet towels (their "tails") and then pass to one of my OGMs to squeeze out the water. The team with more water wins! AHAHA. Then 2 of the OGMs spat into the pail. Like, seriously. We all laughed real hard! Like we were darn desperate!

Last game was the sponge captain's ball. Instead of a ball, we threw a sponge soaked with water. Every time the captain captures the sponge, he will squeeze the water into a bucket. The team with more water at the end of the game wins. Quite epic, we kind of thrashed the other team 6-0 and 3-0!

MAEZA FTW!~

After that was lunch. OG6 went to the stage opposite TJC to have lunch~ I had chicken rice and some barley. The queue for one chicken rice store was like super long, so I ran out of patience (ironically, I did not actually queue for the long queue store at all) and went to buy chicken rice at the store behind. Cannot really tell much difference, I once had the long queue one at Kovan, tastes the same. Makes me wonder why there are long queues. Maybe simply because the long queueing store has a Lee Kuan Yew and SR Nathan picture?

So after that, I kind of volunteered to join the Talent Night gang. We sang Breakeven! OMG such a beautiful song. To sing that song well, you need to sing it with emotions. Not just mutter the lyrics.

Rejoined OG6 during mass dance. Quite fun, we danced Stereo Hearts! My dance partner wasn't bad, so yeah, we had some fun! Somehow~ She looked a bit awkward haha!

Went down to the TJC Stage to discuss our OG performance and rehearse for Talent Night. 4pm was the time for the auditions for Talent Night. Despite only practising for barely an hour, we've made it into the Finals! Woots! So proud of us! BREAKEVEN

So we decided that we'll sing One More Night (WOOTSWOOTS) during the Finals~ Quite happy haha!

Right after the auditions, a choir senior wanted the 3 singers to join Choir (including me...). I'm still considering haha!

And besides, my preferred choice is still Table Tennis or Bowling! However, after looking at the PDP videos earlier today, I've realised most Table Tennis peeps are girls. A bit awkward...

Not saying I won't consider Choir, but I'd like to persuade some sports PDP for a change! Choir just doesn't sound like... my thing. It's more of a group thing, rather than individual. You can blame me for being selfish but, I'd rather sing in smaller groups, or maybe even in pairs.

After that we had more rehearsals for OG Performance! SO FUN AHAHA! I'm acting as Sir Stamford Waffles (nope, it's not a typo, it's a pun I've come up with...) while Nicolas acts as William Barkua (not Farquhar though). SO FUN! I think the whole OG6 really enjoyed the whole performance with everyone involved! I did!

OMG I REALLY LOVE OG6~ AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

So yeah, after that was parents' forum. Mum and Dad came at like 6pm. Dad was "begging" for food, so we hurried to the Auditorium for reception. The buffet is nice!

Dad almost slept during the talk. AHAHA. I was like,"imagine that, and multiply by 2 years. That's what I'll be going through". And then he was finding some excuses like "I never take afternoon nap". AHAHA! He damn funny LOL. (Y) You da man, Pop!

So yeah, went home after an AWESOME DAY! LOVE OG6!!!!!!!

After some considerations, here are my choices for subject combinations:

1st choice = Maths H2, Economics H2, China Studies in English H2, Geography H2, Mother Tongue Language H1, General Paper H1, Project Work H1 (Arts)
2nd choice = Maths H2, Chemistry H2, Economics H2, Geography H2, Mother Tongue Language H1, General Paper H1, Project Work H1 (Cross-Combination)

Ok bye peeps! I LOVE OG6~

PS: Oops! Before I go, here's a song dedicated to my BELOVED OG6~
