Was awesome!
It was so fun.
So this morning I woke up at.... 5:20am. Very early. Had breakfast this early since I-don't-know-when, before leaving home at 6:12am. Expected to reach Eunos MRT (my father was fetching me there) at 6:40am at most, or 6:30am at the very least. Then all of a sudden, after barely 7 minutes, I disembarked from the car, shocked and bewildered at the speed. The traffic was so little.
So yeah, walked slowly (deliberately) to the platform, waited for 3 minutes, boarded the train and then arrived at Bedok at approximately 6:32am. So early.
Jia Wei and I wanted to meet each other at 7am. So yes, I was rather early. Walked around Bedok MRT, doing a small recee, looking at things, and checking out the bus timings. Normally bus 38 comes at about 6:36am, 6:47am and 6:57am. So yeah~ Roughly know what time to leave home now!
Finally met Jia Wei, Li Ling and Mei Ling, before meeting Gladys at the interchange. So we went to TJC.
They gave out free foolscap pads at the entrance, but since we didn't know, Jia Wei and I were like,"Mehhhh, these people are not from TJC (which was correct), they must be giving out some advertising brochures." So we didn't take them. Much to our regret when we found out it was free foolscap.
Anyway, walked to the auditorium and then the atmosphere was euphoric! So much "high" in the auditorium~
After all the talking and introductions, we started on ice-breakers. We played the "MRT" game that I played when I was at NYJC Experience Programme just a few weeks back. It was then followed by some OG bonding session, which included cheers. So fun~ The OG is quite big, about 45 people maybe?
After that it was time for a lot of briefing. On subjects etc. Had to pop some Fisherman's Friend into my mouth... For obvious reasons.
Then went to listen to the China Studies in English briefing as well. Sounds like an interesting subject!
Although the Independent Study is like 2500 English words in 3 hours...
No matter, after that I joined up with the rest of the Zhonghua gang at the canteen. Had fish rice. Something like that. Then went to sit in for the Biology sample lecture. Sounds like an interesting subject! Unfortunately, I was still not really interested. So I left with Li Ling and Gladys after that, while the rest sit in for the Physics lecture. I am in the Arts stream, so I'm taking no sciences except for Mathematics.
Ok, that was yesterday. Fun day but pretty long!
Today was... less intriguing.
Woke up at 6:55am, and then went to school for Scouts. Esmonde vomited outside the school because he had stomach flu. Get well soon!
So after we went in, we talked crap and walked around aimlessly. Before the campfire discussions started while the Sec 1s were entertained. That sums up my non-highlight-able scouts day.
Played some football with basketball, which did hurt my left toes a bit, but it's fine now.
After Scouts a few of us went to Texas Chicken and Pastamania. I ate at the former. Texas Chicken is so nice!
Even though it's quite guilty for me as well...
Anyway, I'm having diarrhoea I think. It's not wet stool which comes only once or twice, but it's diarrhoea, which is repetitive. I've been to the toilet since morning for like... 5 times already? I might need a 6th soon as I'm typing.
However, you need not worry. I'm still pretty strong, not really weak or something, just need to... clear my intestines. Something like that.
Okay that's all blog-walkers!
