So here's my new blog theme!
Awesome song, this one. Touching MV~
And then here's Troublemaker again~ So catchy!
Past few days have come and gone in the speed of lightning.
The weekends were boring. Finally had the time to play squash but nobody bothered to reply my question. So I stayed at home and FIFA instead.
What? It's also playing sports kay...
Last week was hectic. But it's been fine~ Still able to cope. I hope.
My PW Group is great~ So efficient~! Heaps of praises for ya girls!
So today Alvin presented during CSE. It was so funny! We had a good laugh, especially me. Laughed so hard... The way he gives speeches is just... unique and too funny~!
I'm so tired nowadays. But then again, oh well~ It's fine! Mind over matter.
Oh yes. Let's talk about my trip home.
So I chose to take bus 854 home today. I don't know why, but I just did. I'm not sure if I was stupid, dumb or not using my brain. Either way, I could have waited another 2 minutes for bus 25. Somehow I didn't.
For those who don't know, bus 854 is by SMRT while bus 25 is by SBS.
When bus 854 came, I boarded. I was shocked. Horrified. Disgusted.
The whole bus floor was wet. Like, seriously, wet. Like a wet market. Water was dripping down from the bus ceiling. The bus lights weren't even switched on, so it was dark. What the hell?!
It was super disgusting. So I went to the back of the bus where the leaking wasn't so bad. Chose a seat, thought it was the right choice, and plugged in my Audiotechnica.
To my utter disbelief, water started dripping onto the seat directly beside me. Like, barely 10cm away. And the seats were cloth, so they absorbed the water. It was so..... appetising.
Thinking I had enough of this dark, dank and poor bus, I alighted at Eunos. I couldn't bring myself to take that bus home. So I waited for another 2 minutes and bus 25 came. It was a double-decker, and it was so much brighter, so much drier, and so much more comfortable. I felt a strong sense of relief, a stark contrast to the tension, the many small prayers I've made in that 10 minutes journey on bus 854 hoping that no water drips on me.
If y'all follow me on Twitter, well, you would have known the story by now...
So that concludes my delayed coverage of today's trip on the bus. Still being scarred by the events, I have vowed not to take any SMRT buses when there are alternatives from today onwards. Like, seriously. I am shocked. Disgusted isn't even the word to describe my feelings, despite it being mentioned more than twice in this post.
Enough ranting. Catch up with y'all soon.
