Because Mirrors is still awesome.
So, 9 updates from the last blog post:
1. I still do not have a girlfriend (Duh. Not interested anyway.)
2. I still do not have a cow either (It's not very cheap.)
3. I drooled over the new PS4 (Luckily there were napkins.)
4. I have bought my Liverpool kit (Which costed me $147.50 but definitely worth it since this year's kit is quite awesome.)
5. I realised that I'm not the most handsome man on Earth (No matter, my ego is still bigger than the Earth.)
6. I've just created an Instagram account (Yes, I have.)
http://instagram.com/pieslicedham
7. I also have not formally started on my revision for the June Common Test (I still have no idea why they call it June Common Test when it's held in July though.)
8. My handphone consumes battery as quickly as Cookie Monster consumes his cookies (Any faster eaters you know of?)
9. I got Mirrors on the 987fm Top 9 At 9 charts. #6 to be precise (I think I did it single-handedly, because I didn't see anyone voting for that song?)
So yeah. Moving on.
Let's talk about yesterday.
So yesterday, I had to wake up at 7:30am. Quite early, especially for a holiday, and especially so when I've only slept 3.5 hours the night before that (Sunday night, that is.)
Went to Yishun MRT, and finally saw my pals. Of course, being quite an on-time person, I would always reach exactly on-time. However, 3 people were earlier than me, much to my... surprise. John, Jia Wei and Elston were already there.
Nonetheless, after tying my shoelaces, we crossed the road to take bus 812 (I think...?). Reached Yishun SAFRA in less than 5 minutes, got the tickets, redeemed the items and then got ready.
It was time for rock-climbing!
The rest of Energio came (Jia Juen and Cassandra) and then we just took turns to climb. All of them could reach the top, except for me and John. John did better than me, though.
I suck at climbing. I'm not saying it's a poor sport, because it rocks (Oh, the pun.), but I just don't seem to enjoy it very much. Partly because I don't know how to climb properly, and partly because I am afraid of heights. A bit.
After rock-climbing, we had a bit of fun bouldering at the indoor walls. It was like a funhouse, there were many mattresses and bouncy stuff!
The band split, before rejoining about 30 minutes later at Northpoint. They have this very good Japanese foodcourt! The food there is AWESOME and not that expensive either! Will definitely go there again if given the chance~
We managed to hail a cab for all 6 of us. It was the gigantic cab, some 8-seater cab which could ferry all of us. It was so cool! The radio was quite loud in the cab too, so John and I rocked a bit while Elston stares in... disbelief.
Jamming session started at 3:10pm for us, and so we just did some old songs. Nothing much to highlight. There was a strong feeling of nostalgia, because the band only regrouped after a short hiatus of 3 months. Of course, the chemistry dropped a bit, but soon, we got back on track.
We'll be performing at Homecoming @ ZHSS in September! More details soon~
So yeah, that's about it. See y'all, bitches!
P.S.: Bitch is NOT a vulgarity, but the "S" word that describes excretion is. That's why I don't use that word.
Regards
