I've been staring at you every single day.
Life feels incomplete without you around.
It's never the same, it feels empty.
I cannot live without you.
I remember waking up, hoping to see you.
Right beside my bed, just waiting for my awakening.
I've dreamt of you several times, yet I lied that I didn't.
To wrap everything up, I love you, dark chocolate.
What?
There's no rules that says I cannot love food, is there?
Anyway, it was crappy because nothing rhymed. #ImperfectlyPerfect
Right. Let's get onto business.
I haven't blogged for a while, so I guess I'm a big "rusty". Let's just say I don't have much content to type about, my life has been repetitive for the past month. Went for a few field trips, sang a few songs and got cut in the eyelid. That's about it.
Well, yes, you didn't read that wrongly. I did get cut in the eyelid 1 day before I was due to host the National Day Concert in TJC as emcee. Luckily, there were no needles involved (otherwise I'd be blind.) Just a small cut playing floorball during Group PE.
As such, we are now playing softball during Group PE! It's so fun and exhilarating, and probably so because we're just getting started and using tennis racquets and tennis balls instead of softball bats and softball balls. Well that was a bit of a tongue-twister.
Many people have been asking me, "Hey Pie, what do you wanna be when you grow up?" And so, I would answer, "Work in the radio industry."
But why, you must be asking. Why do I love the radio so much? Simple. It stemmed from a visit from HOT FM 91.3's Boy Thunder just last year to my secondary school. I somewhat felt interested, prior to his visit, I did occasionally listen to 987FM. However, after his visit, I felt even more interested to hear 987FM rather than 91.3FM, which was, well, a bit weird. It's just a random thought during Secondary 4 that, if I fail to get into a JC (which turned out to be exactly untrue), I'd go to Ngee Ann Polytechnic and take the famous Mass Communications Diploma, where many local DJs started off from.
Is there a backup plan? Well, obviously, voiceovers, hosting etc. Just not acting, because it's not my type. Or singing, for that matter.
Of course I'd venture into business just like everyone else. Do I have an earth-shattering idea? Nope, not at the moment. Not till a carrot drops onto my head from a tree randomly on a Sunday morning. (HINT: Carrots grow under the soil.)
Since nobody really visits this blog, I shall sign off with 2 live performances that I absolutely love.
