...for braces.
I'm so confused about this status right now. It's weird. That feeling is gone. It's fluctuating. It's diverting. It's converging. Whatever. Can't be bothered anymore, really. Let's just take this as a stage of life.
I've finally put on braces. It was on Thursday, and, contradictory to what I've previously believed, the surgery itself was painless. Well, apart from the jabs they gave me when 2 teeth had to be extracted.
It was a cool experience. I wished there was a TV ontop of the surgery chair, really. Was pretty bored.
The afterpain is, well, the worse part. Because the braces kinda pulls the teeth, there will be toothache. Had to take a few Panadols over the past few days. They're working fine so far.
The even worse part is the braces itself. Being metal and ceramic and all, it hurts a bit. Especially when it kinda brushes your cheeks and stuff. It hurts, definitely. So that's why even though I can talk, I try not to.
Then there's the problem with pronunciation. After having 2 teeth extracted, I can't pronounce "S" properly. Apart from that, no other letters have given me problems.
More saliva, yes. Beware when you speak to me. I may sprinkle holy water.
Last one, and the worst of worsts, is the diet. I haven't been eating well for the past 3 days. That's a torture to me. Fish porridge, mashed potato and then some weird oatmeal mixture - for 3 days in a row. Boring. Boo.
Today I had a wee bit of fries and it still hurts so... Here's to hoping I can start easing in regular diet next week. Maybe by the end of next week I may be able to eat 2-piece chicken at KFC. Because it was so tempting today watching my friends have that and I'm like "EMERGERD I'M STUCK WITH MASHED POTATOES". It was total torment.
I've been having yoghurt and ice cream too, things I love, of course.
So that's my 3 days braces experience so far. Any tips to share with me? Please tell me. I'm a newbie.
Next up, we have the Grad Night. It was cool. The emceeing and all, the frantic preparations and stuff. Hopefully the sec 4s and 5s had fun! It was pretty fun organising, doing videos and posters etc. All cool things~ Love my job!
Then there's DJ and stuff, which was cool and all.
And then there's Energio's performance.
If you watched it, you'll realise that I was on stage for no more than 10 seconds. For, like, 7 minutes of 2 songs added up, I actually was off stage so often. Trying to hype up the crowd but to, well, limited avail.
Nonetheless, some saved me from awkwardness. Thanks guys for willing to dance with me haha.
That's all for grad night really.
I'm tired thinking about all these. Hmmm.
Alright, good night peeps!
