I don't like pea. It's disgusting. It's like a green ball of disgustingness and uglyness. Whoever loves pea should go visit the zoo.
That's my random starter paragraph for the day. Something we can work around with over time. If it gets better, I may consider telling a joke too.
Anyway, OP. Yes. OP. Like, it's November. OP is about to end. Praise the Lord~~~
Less than 5 days as I speak. Wow. Time flies. Soon, Team SOS will dispatch. But it's okay. We'll all still be classmates~ So that's a good thing.
Come to think of it, hey, it's been such a year with the team.
I remember the first time the teacher announced the team. It was like announcing 4D numbers, and our fates for the next 6-7 months. It was decisive who I was working with. To my delight, those that I chose not to work with weren't in my team. So that's a good thing.
When they announced that it'll be 4 girls and 1 pathetic guy, I'm like oh hell no, there's gonna be pizza throwing and cake smashing drama". And then there came the decision to appoint me as group leader. I took it, I guess. I just had that leadership instinct I've had since... since.... my councillor times from Primary 6.
**
Oh yes, let's sidetrack a bit. I was finally appointed a councillor IN PRIMARY 6. Like, last year in Xinmin Primary and they decided, "Meh, this kid gonna be good. This kid gonna be a councillor". So I took the job for a very pathetic 4 months.
Luckily, I was a councillor in Secondary school since Sec 1. Yay. Publicity department is the best~~ Don't ever question my photography skills - I've learnt nothing about photography during my term inside. Like, I was never taught to take nice pictures.
No matter. Soon, I became the Treasurer/Secretary. I think I was the first treasurer/secretary that was a male since I-don't-know-how-many-centuries. Even my successor was a female lol.

Right, back to the PW story. So yeah, took the leader's role in the team. We started slow throughout the year, I pushed for deadlines but I must admit, even I myself didn't meet it. That was just pathetic and a letdown.
After July, though, we did push ourselves pretty much. Linette's house became our Team Headquarters. The Students' Council room, which Yasmin has access to, became our Storeroom. We were stretching our resources and it was pretty cool to have such a wide diversity of people in the team.
Here's November, and looking back, there hasn't been pizza throwing or cake smashing drama. Everything was well. No PMS, no tantrums, no fights.
What can I say? We worked so well together. More than what I had imagined at the start of the year. More than what everybody in the team had imagined. There's just this hidden chemistry and agreement within the team. They told us to come up with a set of team rules, but I was like, "we don't need that". And I still think we made that right choice not to have any rules. No need for those.
5 days to buffet, guys, 5 days to buffet... We're almost there.
So here's a song to y'all four people: Linette, Yasmin, Jamie and Jun~
And then, this song is for myself. To drown in my non-existent sorrow that I love to think about. Don't ask me why, I've no idea.
