Like seriously. There's a reason why some people cannot be bothered with you. Because you are so self-centered and you just leak so many secrets on a chat whereby the audience is huge. Nobody can trust you, seriously. Who would leak conversations with another person? Firstly, we don't give a flying fox and secondly, it's a breach of trust and privacy. Why would you do that? Do you derive any satisfaction from that betrayal? And stop talking about things we can't really give a cent about. The place isn't just about you. We're not your blog, blogspot.com is for that matter, not whatsapp...
Sorry I had to rant... again. Even though I may contradict myself by saying that others are self-centered, at least I don't tell it on a platform where people are forced to hear what I say. I put it here, because it's a matter of choice. It's a choice to come here and read my thoughts.
Moving on. A very interesting topic today. My fashion sense.
Got asked this question a few times in school and, to be fair, I do look like a nerd and someone that simply would rather spend 15 minutes reading my Economics notes than dressing myself up nicely.
I am not that type.
In fact, I am pretty concerned about how I present myself outside. Okay, at home I'll usually just put on a T-shirt with short pants. Not outside, though, because I think there is a need to not make yourself look like an eyesore.
Not saying that I'm the best dresser or anything, but I am concerned about my dress code and appearance. Like, I would not dress in a simple T-shirt, bermudas and slippers to a friend's house party, no matter how informal.
Speaking of slippers, it absolutely irritates me. I don't find it wrong for others to wear it, I really don't, but I myself cannot stand slippers. It's okay if I, say, go down to Kovan (2 bus stops away) just to buy something and then come back wearing slippers. Beyond that, I really would wear sneakers or shoes. In fact, I find it extremely awkward to wear slippers on the MRT. I just can't.
Firstly, slippers are slightly uncomfortable when walking longer distances. Secondly, it's a bit unglamorous to me.
Once again, let me reiterate that I have no issues with people wearing slippers, it's just my personal preferences.
Okay, back to the main topic. So, obviously, I do wear shirts and khakis and denim jeans. And sneakers. So I hope I'm not that far behind modernity.
My hairstyle. Yes. Something I'm looking forward to changing in December. I'll be going for shaved sides, and maybe a splash of colour? We'll see how that goes, but definitely, a change would be fantastic. A bit of adventure before I get rid of the hair for NS won't hurt, right?
Today's a bit of a short post because I need to rush a GP essay! So yes, the topic ends here. Please please please, do drop a comment (even if anonymous) in the chatbox on your right if you're reading this! Just so I know there's people out there who are stalking (yeah right, more like just happening to past by) me.
