Out For An Adventure

Went to KL/Kuantan over the weekend for Geography Trip...

Except I didn't really expect Taro to go out for an adventure too...

Sigh Taro. My beloved hamster. You are out there, exploring the world. Daddy can't blame you. It's my fault. I just hope you're having fun, looking outside at how big the world is beyond your colourful cage. Daddy misses you. If you feel lonely, please, come home. The door is always open.

We may never meet again, but nonetheless, Taro, thanks for the memories. Daddy loves you loads. :,)

You know sometimes you have to move on. And I'd consider myself as a person who does move on pretty quickly.

I mean, I don't dwell on things usually more than a few hours. But during these few hours, what I need is not silence; I hate silence. It is ever so comforting for people around you to ask you how you're doing and stuff. Okay, sometimes it's a bit of a drag to listen to people especially when you're down, but the last thing I want is to be left alone and suffering. I'd rather know that people do care. It's a form of reassurance for me.

I'm actually very different from the majority that prefers peace and silence. I cannot.

Anyway. We must move on.

KL/Kuantan Trip was really good. But since it's really too much of a drag to mention everything, here are the top 5 moments in the 4D3N spent in Malaysia.

1. Pillow fight that lasted 5 seconds. Alvin wanted to pillowfight Wong Zhen. Well, the boy, being careless and all, whacked the girl in the face. And then, it just ended in nose-rubbing. Poor Tania, who was just a spectator, got her toe stepped on by Alvin too.

Alvin, Alvin. The weapon of mass destruction.

2. Singing sessions at night were really fun. Even though we all (especially myself) went out of tune singing songs, it was great. Really crazy. Wacky. But fun. I could never recall the last time I've sang my heart out in front of people before. Good times.

3. Carrot cake. Not the fried ones, I mean like legit carrot cake. Like, a chocolate cake, but instead of chocolate, it's carrot.

And it was horrible.

We were celebrating the birthday of those who were born in April on Day 2 night. Got chocolate cake and carrot cake. Carrot cake was horrible. I've never tasted a cake less convincing than that. Like, it had some weird thing that tasted like detergent.

Not that I've tasted detergent before...

4. Ms J's jokes are too punny. She is such a classy tutor, bringing a lot of humour to the trip. She made fun of herself, and that was just so funny.

What's humour if you don't make fun of yourself? I'd make fun of myself for the sake of humour.

5. Mealtimes were awesome. Every single meal was fun. The food, when not good, gave us a reason to poke fun of it. When it was too good, we just really ate to our hearts' content. Sometimes we had meal as a CG, then we ate with the tutors, and then 2 meals with just Mr Han. So, so fun. The mealtimes were usually when everyone just sits together after a long bus trip, bragging about things and just making jokes at the table. I'd love to do this again.

Next time it'll be in China. More people from CG27/13. Hell yes. Can't wait for June!

And then there's another BIG, BIG thing happening in late November. I cannot wait to share it with everyone, but I have to let people with the exclusive news be "exclusive" for the moment... *wink wink*

Song of the day:
Boys Like Girls - Be Your Everything
(What a great song. Rewinds everything back to 2012, when everything was so flowery. Wish this would happen in 2014 too...)
