Story of my life for the past week.

It's been such a difficult week because the illness is really distracting and tiring me out. I can't concentrate at all, be it doing work or even watching a simple video.

The sore throat is getting tons better, the voice is returning but I haven't sang for an entire week and that, in itself, already sucks.

Then there's the cough. Incredible. Doesn't stop, particularly during nighttime, daytime and mock exams.

A few days ago, it was just this very itchy sensation. Obviously, out of all times it could happen, it happened during mock exam. Being rather self-conscious, I tried not to cough in an examination hall because I know and I do not like people that cough repeatedly during an examination. So I tried to compress it, to chase the itch away.

Result? Well, I always end up swallowing water frantically and then tearing. Yes, I literally cry during the mock exam, not because I was sad, but because it was uncomfortable and the act of trying to compress the itch kinda forces out tears.

So if you ask me if I've cried recently, I'll probably say that I just did yesterday.

Anyway, coughing sucks, so whoever is reading this, please take care of yourself.

On the good side, my new bed has arrived at the new house! It's amazing, I absolutely love it. Although the cover sheet of the mattress is in another shade of blue. Which means I now have 3 different shades of blue in my room. This was not what I had expected of minimalism and using less colours.

But it's alright, I mean, I'm not going to stay in my comfortable room for long anyway. Enlistment is 3 February - out of all days - and it's the first day. I've yet to find any single organism that is enlisting on the same day. Maybe they're calling me first and me only.

Jokes.

But yeah, didn't really expect it to be so early. Never wanted to go CNY bald, but I will this year, which is very sad. I was expecting at least the end of February, after CNY. But nope, MINDEF thought otherwise...

Bright side? Well, at least I ORD early...

Idk, I'm sick and tired. Literally.
