Don't Buy The Galaxy S6

Why not, you might ask. I've been using Samsung phones all along. I still remember starting with my Galaxy Ace, nothing more than a phone that could barely handle Whatsapp. And then I owned the Galaxy S2, which I still use occasionally. The Note 3 came and I bought it, albeit a bit late.

So why would I recommend you not to buy the Galaxy S6, seeing that I'm such a Samsung "fan"?

It looks too much like the iPhone 6. It really does. Especially the bottom of the phone; it's a spliting image of Apple's flagship (and only) device.

And because it looks the same as the Galaxy S5... or S4.... or S3. The front of the phone hasn't changed much, so it retains the same looks. Plus, you're probably going to buy a casing to protect your precious new babe, so nobody is going to look at that gorgeous glass back and metal sides.

And that's why if you're looking for a new phone, don't buy the S6. Buy something more different. Buy the S6 edge.

$150 more over the S6, the S6 edge does not seem to justify its pricetag through it's functions. You could probably swipe the side of the screen to see the feed and the time when the screen is off, and go like "meh, switching the screen on is faster". And it is true. The functions aren't exactly refined.

But I still spent that extra $150 to get a gold Galaxy S6 edge because it looks different and amazing. You probably won't mistake the S6 edge for an iPhone really, because the screen's curvature is understated yet obvious enough to differentiate.

I'll admit, I probably spent that extra $150 to show off, if you'd argue that way. It is gimmicky, and a bit flashy (especially since the gold one is so reflective and chromed), but I like my Galaxy S6 edge because it's different. It probably doesn't have the functions to support the hefty sum I have had to pay (my BMT pay is probably gone), but it's unique.

So yeah. Probably not a very interesting article for all you Apple fanatics or those not even interested in technology. But since I've a bit of time in army, I probably figured out that there's always time to talk rubbish.

I wish Samsung would pay me for this big advertisement.

I don't ever read what I've written because it's so embarrassing like 118% of the time.
