It's a parody of the words "Scooby Doo", if you couldn't figure it out.
Everyone's been through school, and I'm sure we all like it very much. The friends, the canteen that serves food that you may or may not reluctantly buy, your favourite CCA, your crush, your first time...
...staying in school till 9pm.
Sometimes though, and I'm sure some of us can relate to this, we all find some things a little bit annoying.
1. Shirt sizes
Oh no! New school, and I need to get my uniform by the 3rd week!
So imagine this - a JC cohort of about 800 people, all queuing up for that first 10 days of school to get their uniform ready. Yep, as you may now have figured out, that's an average of 80 students trying out their uniform, their PE attire, and whatever else they have to wear.
I remember queuing up outside a classroom for about 30 minutes (which was lucky enough because for the first few days, as my friends told me, the queue was about 1 hour long), tried on my stuff in a poorly ventilated toilet (the ones at the Arts block), and then had to go back again, squeeze amidst the chaos and noise in the classroom, and change sizes.
I still regret not changing my polo tees to S size. L was simply too big. I looked like a knob/nerd all my JC life.
It was traumatic.
2. Air-con is never right
Somehow schools that I've been to always have the problem with air-conditioners. They are either too cold in classrooms such that you see mist forming up outside the windows, or too hot such that you actually want to take out your clothes.
They just never get it right, do they?
And you know what's best? Hot PE lesson, and then you enter a room which has a poorly-working air-con.
Let the sweat begin.
3. Timetabling
I had days when I end school at 12 and days when I end at 6. Some days I could have 5 period squeezed before lunch, sometimes I can have 5 spread over the day till dinner.
I'm not blaming anyone here; the timetabling is hard to manage given the number of subject combinations. It's just a rant, a complain, that can't really be solved. It's those things that make everyone go: "BO BIAN LOH."
4. Everyone wants 5 more minutes
Happens to every single lesson, really. All the tutors want that extra "5 minutes" after the bell rings, so that they can complete whatever they have planned. That's all fine, until it starts to snowball. And then you realise you have to travel from Singapore to the US for your next lesson within the next 5 minutes.
Okay, not that I really ran for the next period at all anyway.
5. School starting time
Still finding an answer as to why my school starts at 7:25am every morning apart from Wednesdays. Oh, and, even though school starts at 8:20am on Wednesdays, about 30% of the time it's filled with activities that they could easily put at the Contact Time slot at 3pm later in the day.
Why does it have to be so early? I have to wake up at 5:30am every morning, and catch a bus, catch another, and then reach at either 7am or 7:30am.
Or maybe I'm just ranting because I live very far...
Still regretting.

If my blog was a human, it'll be pretty bruised up right now. I've been ranting sooooooo much. But I guess it's best when you can't find anyone to rant to. LOL. I don't want to bother anyone anyway~
