Swegbuddies The Third

Well I decided to twist the title a bit because it was getting a bit boring.

ANYWAY. Today, there's no category. It's more of a story.

You see, we have a bit of telepathy (or, jokingly, telepiethy) going on sometimes. It pisses me off when I make puns and somehow her success rate of getting it correct is near 100% recently.

Makes me wonder why I'm still trying. But I still am. LOL.

It's okay. Pie, you're still a funny bloke.

So yeah, pretty much, we share the same thoughts sometimes. It's actually quite funny how we think the same ideas.

Mel: "What should I name your fanclub?"
Me: "The Siong Hangout."
Mel: "OMG I was thinking about hangout too."

Yeah. Creeps me out sometimes.

It's just plain funny how I've never met someone so similar to me. It's seriously a mirror sometimes. Often I find talking to her as equivalent to talking to myself. It's like, I used to talk to myself in the shower, before I sleep. Don't need that so often nowadays. LOL.

Okay maybe that was a bit sarcastic.

Sometimes we talk rubbish (actually 95% of the time). It's funny how far this friendship has progressed; it really makes me wonder why all these happened. Nonetheless, very, very, VERY blessed (because Mel says "touched" is too mainstream) to have a friend that's similar. It's creepy, but, it's just someone that you can't get rid of.

I still remember how we both didn't talk to each other AT ALL during orientation. Like, throughout the entire week, we were strangers. We did not talk at all. She was one of the few OGMs I did not talk to at all. Maybe I failed as an OGL. Terribly.

Few days after orientation, she whatsapped me.

And then 2.5 months later....

Yeah. That's how it goes. That's how we roll.

So, Mel, here's a picture we took 2.5 months apart.

Left: Most awkward picture with an OGM ever after Orientation ended at Suntec City.
Right: Least awkward picture with a friend ever after Mardi Gras was about to end at Temasek JC.
(P.S.: YES, I WAS WEARING A WING FOR THE 2ND PICTURE.)

Thanks so much for everything. Seriously. Great great friend :) Here's to many more years of friendship~

Oh by the way, if you wonder why both of us make this so public, it's because we believe there's nothing to hide. We are friends, and I don't see why we can't share our awesome friendship with people. That's what I believe in, at least. :)
